Isabella: Senior Portraits in the Twin Cities

Isabella is a classy, intelligent, witty young lady with a bright future. I had so much fun capturing her senior portraits. Upon graduating from St. Frederick High School this spring, she will head to LSU to pursue her undergraduate degree. In addition to being a bright student with ambitious career goals, she is a talented athlete, having served on the cheer squad and soccer team at St. Frederick. For the session, we shot on both sides of the Ouachita River—Antique Alley, Ouachita Parish Courthouse, the River Walk, and a few other little spots in downtown Monroe. Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

Congratulations, Isabella, and best of luck in the future!

Sunflowers, corn, and railroad tracks

Yesterday, I had a super fun session with Cara. We took pictures in a full-blown corn field, sunflower field, and on some train tracks. We battled ants, various bugs, and the Louisiana heat, but we pulled through successfully. I think the photos turned out beautifully. This was my first time shooting in a sunflower field and corn field, and I have to say these settings are absolutely perfect for photos at sunset. Needless to say, I will be revisiting these locations!
