Photoshoot with Macy in Downtown Monroe, Louisiana

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of hanging out with one of Monroe's coolest—Macy! Macy is a junior at Ouachita Christian School in Monroe. We shot in downtown Monroe around Cotton and the Riverwalk. Downtown Monroe offers some really interesting places for a photography session: brick walks, wooden doors, buildings, columns, etc. This session with Macy was a lot of fun and produced some stunning photos. It wouldn't surprise me if we saw Macy in a fashion magazine someday :)

Sunflowers, corn, and railroad tracks

Yesterday, I had a super fun session with Cara. We took pictures in a full-blown corn field, sunflower field, and on some train tracks. We battled ants, various bugs, and the Louisiana heat, but we pulled through successfully. I think the photos turned out beautifully. This was my first time shooting in a sunflower field and corn field, and I have to say these settings are absolutely perfect for photos at sunset. Needless to say, I will be revisiting these locations!
